Entry Requirements
- No formal prerequisite qualifications are required to enrol.
- You will be invited to attend a detailed information session.
- Complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment.
- Participate in a Pre-Training Review to determine the most suitable course aligned to your needs.
- A current national Police clearance is required prior to commencing the placement component.
- Evidence of certain vaccinations is mandatory, including but not limited to influenza (flu) and COVID-19, prior to placement.
- You must be at least 18 years old to undertake practical work placements.
- Students should currently be employed or have an interest in the aged care or community service sectors.
IT Specifications Required for Study
- A computer or device with at least 8GB of RAM and a processor running at 1.5GHz or faster.
- Stable internet connection with minimum download speed of 10 Mbps and upload speed of 1 Mbps.
- Must have Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and a PDF reader (e.g., Adobe Acrobat) installed.
